I think Christopher Bailey did very well with this collection. The more I look at it, the more I like the romantic feel of the clothes. With the added bonus of it being very wearable. I like the draping of the fabric, and I think he succeeds in creating a more feminine look which is still edgy.

THESE SHOES WEREN'T MADE FOR WALKING...
This is the result when you get a milliner to make your shoes for your new runway collection. One of my favorite designers of all time - which I will also refer to as MR. VALENTINO - asked PHILLIP TRAECY (the one of the fantastical headgear!), to help him with shoe designs for his new collection. And I must say I do think that they are absolute works of art! This is one of the reasons I love creative people; to think of this and make it come to life, is just amazing.
I just don't think that these shoes are made for walking...
MR BLAHNIK
I really feel that there are some people in the fashion industry who should be addressed as MR. And this is one of them. I am not the hugest fan of his shoes, but must admit that they are works of art, and apparently very comfortable! Sometimes I think his drawings are more fantastical and more beautiful than the end product! But I still wouldn't mind having one or two (or ten!) pairs of Manolo's in my closet!

SEX IN THE CITY 2 - YEAH!!
I wasn't THE biggest SITC watcher while it was on TV (I actually had a social life - and there was no PVR - back then!), but whenever I could catch an episode I did, and LOVED it. When the first movie came out, I thought it was great, and now I cant wait for the 2nd one - which will be in cinemas on May 28! Go see the trailer on www.cinematical.com.

MORE DECORATING IDEAS
I went to the HERTEX showroom in Pretoria this week to look at some fabric that my sister wants to buy to cover one of her couches, and I saw sooo many beautiful fabrics that I am totally confused all over again about my bedroom make over! Add the more recent images, and I am LOST!!
I am still looking for ideas for my big house project. I really love my kitchen, but I also love these light filled images; it just seems so happy!

I don't want to give my living room a total make over (yet), but these were also inspirational. I can find something in each of these to love..
